a quilt study

a quilt study is a project quilt created from naturally dyed fabric from plants grown and harvested on my land in Saranac, NY. The quilt, approximately 80” x 90”, will be entirely composed of fabric dyed using plants grown and harvested locally, featuring appliqué, embroidery, and hand-quilting techniques that abstractly represent the land’s history, topography, and geography.
